About Annabelle
I am currently in my senior year, graduating May 2021, at Iowa State University studying Apparel Merchandising and Design with an emphasis on Creative and Technical design.
In high school, I was attracted to art and design, participating in leadership positions of the school's art club and AP Art program. After studying in Florence for a semester, I was infused with studying sustainability in fashion, leading me to write a case study for the FSF on biodegradable wool coats and devote much of my time to researching recycled and natural alternatives to everyday fabrics.

Education:
In my time at Iowa State, I have been given opportunities to work with professionals in the industry on case studies, direct teams of students of different majors for magazine editorials, further my knowledge and expand my aesthetic on creative and technical design.

In 2018, I was the Fashion Director of Sir Magazine. Here, I was able to work with many talented students and direct teams of stylists.

I have participated in competitions such as the Fashion Scholarship Fund and the Arts of Fashion Competition. In January 2020, I was given the opportunity to attend The FSF Scholarship Recipient Gala and Career Fair in New York City. Here I was able to meet business professionals and further my knowledge on the insides of the industry.

I have also spent a semester abroad studying at Accademia Italiana. Here, I was able to meet new people in the industry and expand my knowledge on international fashion. I was able to work under many talented teachers who have influenced my outlook on the industry.

In high school, I had the opportunity to attend Columbia College of Chicago for an intensive where I was able to learn about the merchandising aspects of the industry by visiting stores such as Bloomingdales behind the scenes and speaking with stylists from across the country.
